I did this design in 2014 for some friends who are planning to move from their place in Emporia to an undeveloped property in a small town. So far all they have done is clean up the debris that was on site and plant cover crops, but that's a great start!
The idea was to have two houses on the site, sharing a social space in between and extensive gardens, enough to supply a farm stand on the end of the property facing the highway. Since then, they have reconsidered the second (north) house and the pond.
