I was approached by a client who has a back yard that slopes away from the house, toward the southwest. They care for a number of children and need to keep part of the yard as a play area, but they wanted to have some garden beds as well. I recommended a terrace above and below the garden, with a wavy shape that incorporates steps and trellis crops into its curves.
