Perennial raised bed

I didn't really intend to have any raised beds, even though the back yard gets quite wet when rain falls on the neighbors' yards uphill from us.  But when our sewer line got excavated in late 2008, the resulting pile of dirt looked a lot like a raised bed, so I just went with it!

This bed is home to perennial food crops and whatever annuals fit between them. It produces mainly asparagus and strawberry mint.

See an album of photos of this bed.
